Before Sentieo, the team was utilizing file folders in Windows File Explorer to store notes and articles about companies, relying on the “control F” function, and cluttering up each others’ email inboxes. Without Sentieo, the team couldn’t simply upload all of their documents into a single platform that was cloudbased (and thus accessible anytime, anywhere by the whole team). Here’s how Sentieo changed their workflow for the better.
With a lean team and a rigorous research process, Chris Devlin, founder of Selective Wealth, wanted a solution that would save him time. That way, he’d be able to spend less time trying to find information, and more time actually thinking about his findings to create more alpha-generating ideas. Before Sentieo, he saved notes in Word documents within ticker-labeled file folders on his desktop. The desire for a more powerful document search and the need for document tagging and annotation abilities were the primary reasons that the RGA team wanted to switch to Sentieo. Prior to Sentieo, they were using Bloomberg. They have since removed a Bloomberg license, as Sentieo has rendered it redundant.

They immediately saw their fundamental research process improve.
